-

MICRONEEDLING AFTERCARE
-
For the first 24 hours:
-
Skin will appear red and feel similar to a mild sunburn (itchy) — this is normal
-
Avoid makeup for at least 72 hours to reduce risk of irritation, breakouts, or infections
-
Use only a gentle cleanser and a fragrance-free moisturizer
-
Avoid sun exposure; use a mineral SPF 30+ once cleared by your provider
-
-
For 3–5 days after:
-
Skin may feel dry or flake slightly as it renews
-
Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), and other active skincare ingredients
-
Skip sweat-inducing workouts, saunas, and swimming pools
-
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds
-
-
Ongoing care:
-
Keep skin hydrated with a gentle, barrier-supportive moisturizer
-
Resume normal skincare routine gradually after about a week, or as directed by your provider
-
Results build over several weeks as collagen production increases
-
-
Contact us if you experience:
-
Excessive swelling, pinpoint bleeding that doesn't stop, or signs of infection
-
Prolonged redness beyond 3–4 days
-

Q-SWITCH LASER AFTERCARE
-
Immediately after treatment:
-
Mild redness, warmth, or slight swelling in the treated area is expected
-
-
For the first 48–72 hours:
-
Avoid direct sun exposure; apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily once skin is intact
-
Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate the treated area
-
Avoid makeup on the treated area until any pinpoint scabbing has healed
-
Skip saunas, hot showers, swimming, and heavy sweating
-
-
What to expect:
-
Treated pigment or lesions may darken temporarily before flaking off over 1–2 weeks
-
Do not pick at any flaking or scabbing — let it shed naturally to avoid scarring or pigment changes
-
-
Ongoing care:
-
Consistent daily SPF 50+ use is essential to protect results and prevent new pigmentation
-
Multiple sessions are often needed for full results, spaced per your provider's recommendation
-
-
Contact us if you experience:
-
Blistering, open wounds, or signs of infection
-
Unusual or prolonged pain
-

Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area unless instructed otherwise
-
Skip strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive sun or heat exposure
-

-
-
For the first 48–72 hours:
-

-
Continue to avoid saunas, hot yoga, and hot tubs
-
Some swelling and bruising is normal and can take several days to a week to resolve
-
-
What to expect:
-
Initial swelling may make results look fuller than final outcome
-
Filler settles over 2–4 weeks — final results are best assessed after this period

-
-
Contact us if you experience:
-
Skin that turns pale, mottled, or dusky in color
-
Increasing pain, especially if disproportionate to the treatment
-
Vision changes
